A photography. A story

This photograph was taken a few weeks ago in Huacachina, Peru. They tell him the oasis in the desert. This trip was not for vacations, along with some colleagues from the university selected us to present at an important Congress of Scoiology. Imagine, at my age in a congress! It was exciting, I never thought I would travel outside Chile without my family, and less for something so important! I was two weeks in Lima, Peru. It was a journey full of learning, both academic and personal. I went to conferences of great sociologists and also met wonderful people from other countries, I learned about their cultures, their countries, their stories, their lives. It was very important to me. At first I felt fear, because everything was unknown. My biggest support was my friends, it was nice because I also knew more about them, we had to resist for two weeks! Profession

When I was a child I remember that I wanted to be in all career. I wanted to be a bomber, veterinarian, doctor and even police 😂. Later in high school I had plans to study engineering, I wanted it for a longer time. But when choossing a physical or humanist, I decided to go to the humanist (I don't regret it). Then when there was little left to enter university, I was between studying psychology, public administration or sociology. What made me decide was the curricular meshes, the one that caught my attention was that of sociology (although yes or yes I want to study psychology at some point in my life). My choice for sociology I think was good, in these three years I have learned a lot and I do not speak only academically, but it has served me for my daily life.  When I finish the degree I would like to work in the public sector too much, there is much to contribute. I hope to make it.

Frustrated dream

Since I was a kid, I really liked sports, I played basketball, tennis, soccer, volleyball and everything that was collective or with a ball. When I was in seventh grade I started playing soccer in my high school team. I liked to think it was good, because it was what I liked the most! After three years I managed to enter professional teams. It was incredible!! a dream come true. I made the mistake of continuing to play for my school team, I say error because being unprofessional, I received many blows to the knees, which finally happened to me, since it led me to suffer injuries after an injury. Over time, the injuries became more severe and my knees could not stand anymore. The bad decision of the trainers and doctors, led me to my knees in a double operation, from which until today I can not recover. I still can't jog or play sports as I like, I hope that one day I will recover completely, to finally play football as a hobby.

My favourite piece of technology

For me the music is everything, it's something I need day by day. Therefore my favourite piece of technology is that allowing that has a music player. Lately only use my phone for listening music, but before I had Mp3, Mp4 and Ipod (chronologically haha) , gadgets exclusive for listening music. If it were for me I would listen to music all day, but it is not possible. I usually use the devices when I'm on my way somewhere. I find that in public transport it is the ideal place to use headphones and enjoy good music. I think that since I was a child I like to music, it's a family thing. In my house we have always had devices to listen music either in a speaker or with headphones. My life without music players would be sad and stressfull 😣, I would not like to hear all the conversations and noice of the street.

My autobiography

My name is Camila Díaz Cepeda. I was born in Santiago of Chile in May 27 of 1998. I have 21 years, I live in the commune of Maipú with my two parents and one of my brothers. The other live in the commune of Ñuñoa with your wife and son. I have a dog, your name is Oddie 😍 and be with him is my favorite pastime. Another of my hobbies is doing sports, I like soccer and volleyball. Until a few years ago was a good player, but I had a serious injury and I had to have surgery 😭 . I hope to recover soon. I studied my elementary education in a subsidized school in Maipú, was a convent school and that's why I wanted to change in the secondary education. I went to a public school also located in Maipú, was only of girls, indeed its name is "Liceo Bicentenario de Niñas de Maipú". Today I'm sociology student at the University of Chile, I entered the year 2017.
